llms.txt Generator & Validator

llms.txt is a plain-text markdown file at the root of a website that gives AI tools a short, curated map of your most important pages. This free generator reads your home page and builds a draft automatically: your site name as the title, your meta description as the summary, and your internal links grouped into sections by URL path, with legal and account pages moved to an Optional section. You can edit the draft in the browser with live validation against the llmstxt.org format, then copy it or download it as llms.txt. The validator fetches an existing /llms.txt and checks the title, summary, sections, link format, full URLs and content type.

Website owners publish an llms.txt alongside robots.txt and sitemap.xml as part of preparing for AI search. Documentation teams list their key guides and API references so AI assistants can find the right pages. Agencies add llms.txt to client launches. Developers check that an existing file is served as text, starts with an H1 and uses absolute URLs.
